Five Daily Reminders to start your day dancing on the right foot!

Affirmations are daily words or positive statements that can help to challenge your mind and spirit as well as help you to overcome limiting beliefs that lead to negative thoughts.One thing that I do every morning before I get up and make that first cup of coffee is read out loud my five daily reminders.

I know, and like I’ve said many times before, “what we do as artists is simply that: profound work that comes from a soul-based feeling. A place of emotion that is deeply rooted in the connections we make along this passion-filled road we travel while sharing our art.”
So of course! Dancers are emotional, creative souls and every step we take is emotional and spiritual. If we’re not starting our day or filling our mind, body, and spirit with positive thoughts right from the start, HOW are we supposed to set ourselves up for success in any aspect of your career and journey?!
When we frequently repeat a positive daily reminder or affirmation and truly believe in them, we can start to see real-life changes. Not just in our daily routines, but in our dancing as well.
Here are five of the daily reminders I use and have posted on my bedroom wall for my personal and professional growth.
I am amazing!
I can do anything.
I celebrate my individuality.
Positivity is a choice.
I am prepared to succeed!
